Led Zeppelin’s second tour of The United States began on April 24, 1969. Peter Grant had booked the band at Bill Graham’s Fillmore West in San Francisco. Led Zeppelin played four shows, from April 24th to the 27th, with Vanilla Fudge. Instead of the usual one hour concert they were playing two hours or more onstage. Audiences were blown away by the raw power and high energy of the band. One of the highlights of the show is John Bonham’s 15 minute blistering drum solo “Pat’s Delight”. Overall an amazing performance from the early days of Led Zeppelin.

Very cool Zep site. The Filmore West recordings are awesome to say the least… Listened to every track while checking out your site on another browser tab.
That beginning on Killing Floor is definitely a jam…the whole song.
